Conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis is an irritation of the surface of the eye. It causes the eye to be pink, and can be caused by viruses, bacteria, allergies, scratches, chemical and foreign substances such as dirt. Although Visine or OcuClear will handle some minor irritations, an office visit usually results in a specific diagnosis and effective treatment. Please call for an appointment if your child experiences these symptoms.
